The City of Hammond, Indiana has so much character and texture. It was a great day out to capture some cool signs and to look for some old type that made their home on buildings. These were just a few shots from Downtown Hammond and a couple of Hammond’s main roads. I’m sure I could go back 10 more times and find some great examples of type everywhere.
I love this. It’s amazing how much ‘art’ out there is looked over day after day. Great photography like this inspires me to not just stop and smell the roses, but to look at their beauty and see how they impact everyday life.
